Che versus Cho

When people wear Che Guevara's image on their shirts, hats and bodies they think they're making a statement that they're anti-Western, anti-capitalist or anti-whatever. I wonder whether they see the parallels between that Latin American murderer and the newly notorious Seung-Hu Cho?

Like Che, Cho came from a well to do, middle class family.

Like Che, Cho has quickly become an anti-establishment 'hero' and a quick search of the Internet turns up countless photos of people mimicking Cho's arms spread, two gun pose.

Like Che, Cho railed against established authority.

Like Che, Cho blamed his victims for being responsible for his actions.

Like Che, Cho was an unconscionable murderer driven by class hatred to perform evil.

Not content with murdering hundreds of Cubans himself, and ordering the death of thousands more, Che trotted off to Bolivia to continue his bloody crusade, where he met his end. Not content with murdering two students, Cho took a breather before setting off for university to continue his bloodbath, also meeting his end.

There is no moral difference between Che and Cho. They are both the absolute scum of humanity, which makes you wonder about the mental facilities of those that hold them up as heroes.

Long may they rot in Hell.
