A few years ago, when I was doing a stint at CityRail, I had to help a bloke get some video out of the CCTV system. It showed a bloke crossing the tracks after one train had passed but failing to see a train coming the other way on the other tracks.
He got smeared between the train and platform. Nasty. Even worse was that the camera showed three school kids who were sitting on a seat on the platform right in front of where it happened. Their reaction was the hardest bit to watch.
