Cool airport of the day

Beautiful mountain scenery, great accommodation and a terrific golf course as well. Burnsville, Mountain Air in North Carolina looks like my sort of place.

It's in the Appalachians. Nice weather, beautiful scenery. I live in the Appalachians, but north, in Pennsylvania. Course, the disadvantage of living anywhere in the south is that they freak out if it snows and can't drive in it.

rightwingprof knows not of which he speaks. Those of us that grew up in the Southern mountains are well experienced in driving in snow. About five miles from this airport in Burnsville, NC (as the crow flies) is Mt. Mitchell, at 6,684 feet, the highest point in eastern America. I invite prof to leave the Pennsylvania molehills and visit the REAL Appalachian Mountains.
