Sunday night Aussie rock

Hunters and Collectors was one of Australia's really great bands. I saw them years ago when they played in Canberra at the ANU refectory. They were great, though I stood so close to the speaker stack that I couldn't hear properly for three days! When you take a gander at what's making the charts now it makes you wonder where the songwriters with the talent of Mark Seymour and Co have gone. They had so many great songs that I couldn't work out which one to post. Therefore, I provide not one, not two, but three examples of this fine band's work. Do yourself a favour and listen to them all.

A good selection of songs from the Hunters and Collectors. Where's Mark Seymour? ... he's touring the clubs and pubs according to his website. Just google his name and you'll go straight there.

Many of you may not have heard his song with Paul Kelly called "Hey Boys" ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NkoO4NJ8-c ... note the URL breaks over 2 lines ... it's from a stinker of a film called Garbo. However, I didn't mind the beautiful Imogen Annesley who had a major part in the film.
